Activities in Cyprus

Hiking

The best seasons are spring and autumn, but winter can be a good choice thanks to its mild temperatures. In the Troodos Mountain range there are numerous hiking trails winding through pine woods and vineyards offering a variety of vast panoramic views and scenery. Choose Cedar Valley and you’ll be rewarded by the memorable sight of some 200,000 massive and majestic trees. Many more hiking trails are found in the Akamas area near Polis, in Cape Greco near Agia Napa, and in the region around Paphos, such as the Avakas Gorge.

Cycling

For those who prefer wheels to walking, the island can be discovered by cycling along many interesting trails, especially on the Akamas Peninsula and the hills of Troodos massif. Mountain bikes for rental are available in all tourist resorts.

swimming, sailing, yachting, surfing, diving and waterskiing. Qualified instructors are available, if required, to teach these skills at all levels.

Golf

Golf enthusiasts can choose from three professional courses on the island: the Tsada Golf north of Paphos and the Secret Valley or Aphrodite Hills east of Paphos.
